The aim is to build a unit for 10 children with autism spectrum disorders and dual diagnosis.
The centre for adults will also be rebuilt, with 11 additional dual diagnosis places added.
Les Anémones is one of Wallonia's oldest and best-known not-for-profit organisations, specializing in care for people with learning disabilities and dual diagnosis. Its residents are divided into a residential centre (day and night) for children and a residential centre for adults. There are also supervised flats.
Construction of the building to house these new activities will cost €6,000,000. The Walloon region will be responsible for the running costs.
We are going to support this project with €350,000 for the construction. In addition, we have just obtained the agreement of the ROGER DE SPOELBERCH foundation for a very substantial amount as well as the Lokumo Fund and we had already obtained the support of Ceperive, which brings Constellations' total effort to €2,200,000.
The non-profit organisation Les Anémones has also had spectacular results, which means that only an additional €200,000 is needed for the construction.
We just got planning permission in 3 months! The building foundations have already been laid over the Summer. The construction of the first floor is going on.
As far as running costs are concerned, we're on the right track and we have just obtained an agreement in principle from the AViQ for an opening in late 2024
We're very interested in the complementary nature of the adult dual diagnostic center at La Maisonnée.
Construction is progressing fast
